Government Relations
All businesses – no matter their size or business type – are affected by legislative issues. The Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce works with elected officials at the county, state and federal levels to promote a pro-business agenda.
At the Chamber, we advocate on behalf of the Baltimore County business community. Since our establishment in 1966, we have focused on building and maintaining relationships with local government agencies. The Chamber’s Legislative Affairs Committee brings local businesses together to form a unified voice and promote a pro-business agenda.
At all levels of government, legislation affecting business is proposed on a constant basis. Many of these new rules and regulations can have a serious impact on local businesses and economic development. We encourage local business owners to get involved in the political process. Contact us with issues that affect your business or attend one of our monthly Legislative Committee meetings, held the third Thursday of the month at 8 a.m.
With your help we can keep our county business friendly and prosperous!
