The Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce is the area’s leading business advocate. Our primary objective is to create a climate of growth and success in our community.
Is the Chamber part of ______________ (city government, county government, tourism, Economic Development, Better Business Bureau)?
No, the Chamber is an independent organization representing more than 475 member businesses.
What specific benefits do members of the Baltimore County Chamber receive?

What types of businesses join the Baltimore County Chamber?
Our members represent all types of businesses, large, medium and small, across all industry sectors, including financial services, energy, insurance, manufacturing, wholesale and retail trade, health care, real estate and communications. Nearly half of our 475 member companies have less than five employees.
Why would businesses outside Baltimore County join the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce?
No matter where your business is located, if you currently conduct a significant portion of your business or are looking to grow your business within Baltimore County, then you should be a member of the Baltimore County Chamber of Commerce. Our networking events, programs and services will help you increase your customer base, while our communications will keep you abreast of developments in the region that may affect your business.
I'm looking to start my own company. Should I join the Baltimore County Chamber before I actually establish my business?
We love your enthusiasm! However, we recommend that you join us after your business is established. In the meantime, we encourage you to visit the Small Business Resource Center for business services aimed at start-ups and entrepreneurs. You can contact a counselor by calling 410-825-6200.
Can I purchase the Baltimore County Chamber's membership list?
The Chamber’s membership list is available free of charge to Chamber members only.
I'm interested in hosting a Chamber event. How can I find out more?
Contact Brent Howard at 410-825-0019. If you are not currently a Baltimore County Chamber member, you must join the Chamber before hosting an event.
How can I get my upcoming event posted on the Chamber’s community calendar?
Simply visit the Chamber’s Community Events section to submit your event. The Chamber reserves the right to edit or reject submissions.
